Bent Malaka Sustainable Development Foundation

The Origin of the Story
Dr. Nehad Farouk grew up in a household deeply committed to charity and social impact, where giving back to the community was a way of life. Her mother played a significant role in shaping her values, serving as a role model for public service and humanitarian work.
Inspired by her mother’s visionary leadership, she actively participated in charity initiatives from an early age, witnessing firsthand the power of social change. She learned that true generosity goes beyond financial aid—it’s about creating real opportunities for people to build a better future.
Carrying this deep sense of purpose, Dr. Nehad founded Bint Malaka Foundation for Sustainable Development, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, especially women, youth, and people with disabilities.
"We are all born as kings—either ruling over ourselves or needing a hand to help us discover our potential." – A guiding belief that shaped the foundation’s journey.
